What is Jasmine Tea?

Jasmine is a type of flowering plant that is native to tropical and subtropical regions of the Old World (primarily in Asia). It is a member of the olive family and is known for its delicate and fragrant flowers, which are often used to produce perfumes and essential oils. Jasmine plants are vines or shrubs that can grow to be quite large, with dark glossy leaves and small white or yellow flowers. The flowers of the jasmine plant are highly prized for their sweet, exotic scent and are often used in aromatherapy and traditional medicine. There are many different species of jasmine, each with its own unique characteristics and uses. Jasmine is also a popular choice for use in gardens and landscaping, as it is relatively easy to grow and adds a touch of elegance and fragrance to any outdoor space.

Jasmine tea is a type of tea that is made from green tea leaves scented with the aroma of jasmine flowers. It is a popular beverage in many parts of Asia, particularly in China, where it has a long and storied history.

Jasmine tea is believed to have originated in the Fujian province of China during the Song Dynasty (960-1279), when tea merchants began adding jasmine flowers to their teas in order to improve the flavor and aroma. The tea quickly became popular and began to spread throughout China and beyond. Today, jasmine tea is enjoyed in many parts of Asia and around the world, and is considered to be a symbol of culture and tradition in China.

In the production of jasmine tea, green tea leaves are mixed with jasmine flowers and left to soak in the flowers' fragrance for several hours or days. The tea is then dried and the jasmine flowers are removed, leaving a delicate and aromatic tea. Jasmine tea is known for its refreshing and floral flavor, and is often enjoyed as a way to relax and unwind. It is also believed to have a number of health benefits, including aiding in digestion and helping to reduce stress and anxiety.

Reed Diffuser Instructions

-Carefully remove the cap from the bottle of fragrance oil.

-Insert the reeds into the bottle, making sure they are fully submerged in the oil. How many you use is up to you- more reeds, more scent!

-Allow the reeds to absorb the oil for at least an hour, or until they are saturated.

-Turn the reeds upside down, so the dry ends are now in the oil.

-Place the bottle in a safe location where the fragrance can be appreciated- keep away from open flames, pets, children, or high traffic areas where the diffuser could be knocked over.

-Flip the reeds occasionally to refresh the scent and keep the fragrance consistent.

I know this is one of their season scents, but they def need to add this one to the roster full time, especially in diffuser form. The smell is super light. kind of floral, and really refreshing. I used to have their Honey Jasmine diffuser, but I think I might need to stock up on this version before it sells out!
