If you're a fan of wood wick candles, you know that they can bring a cozy, warm atmosphere to any room. But in order to get the most out of your wood wick candle, it's important to properly care for it. Here are a few tips for keeping your wood wick candle burning bright:

-Trim the wick: Before lighting your wood wick candle, be sure to trim the wick to about 1/4 inch. This will help prevent the flame from becoming too large and will ensure that your candle burns evenly.

-Burn for at least an hour: The first time you light your wood wick candle, be sure to burn it for at least an hour. This will allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the jar, which will prevent tunnelling (when the wax only melts down the center of the candle).

-Keep the wax pool clear: As your wood wick candle burns, be sure to keep the wax pool clear of any debris, such as wick trimmings or matches. This will help the candle burn smoothly and will prevent the flame from becoming obstructed.

-Don't burn for too long: While it's important to burn your wood wick candle for at least an hour at a time, you don't want to burn it for too long. A good rule of thumb is to burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. This will help prevent the wax from overheating and will extend the life of your candle.

-Store properly: When you're not using your wood wick candle, be sure to store it in a cool, dry place. This will help prevent the wax from melting and will keep your candle in good condition.

By following these tips, you can enjoy your wood wick candle for longer and create a warm, inviting atmosphere in your home. Happy candle burning!

Fruity & Fun

I’m not personally familiar with calamansi and did struggle to pick out any strong citrus notes. I would classify this as more of a tropical fruit candle, with a nice balance of guava and passionfruit. It is a happy candle, perfect for fruit fans. Vacillated between 4 & 5 stars, as it is quite nice.

Smells great in tin, but was a little disappointed when lit

I was super excited to have this candle. It smelled great in the tin! However when I lit it, I could barely smell it for the duration of the burn. I had to deeply inhale if I really wanted to smell the fragrance. It seemed to have a very limited throw and I was sitting only two feet from it.

Great candle!

My aunt loved the Calamansi Guava candle. She said it reminded her more of cassava cake. Regardless, she really enjoyed the scent and packaging. i'll be buying more in the future. Love this small business! 😍
