What is Sakura?

Cherry blossoms, or sakura, are a symbol of spring in Japan and are deeply ingrained in Japanese culture. The cherry blossom is Japan's national flower and has been celebrated for centuries. The flower is associated with renewal and the fleeting nature of life, as the blossoms only last a few weeks before falling to the ground.

In Japan, cherry blossom viewing, or hanami, is a popular pastime. People gather under cherry blossom trees to picnics, drink sake, and celebrate the arrival of spring. The tradition is said to have originated in the 8th century, when aristocrats and samurai enjoyed viewing the cherry blossoms as a symbol of their wealth and power.

The cherry blossom tree is also a symbol of love and has been featured in many works of art, literature, and film. In modern times, the cherry blossom tree is a popular tourist attraction in Japan and can be found in many public parks and gardens. The trees are also cultivated in many other countries around the world, including the United States.

What does EMME's Sakura smell like?

With top notes of bergamot and hinoki, the scent profile is rounded out with the light but unmistakable freshness of cherry blossom petals in bloom. EMME's Sakura makes it feel like spring in any space, and creates an amazing, calming atmosphere.

CANDLE CARE

If you're a fan of wood wick candles, you know that they can bring a cozy, warm atmosphere to any room. But in order to get the most out of your wood wick candle, it's important to properly care for it. Here are a few tips for keeping your wood wick candle burning bright:

-Trim the wick: Before lighting your wood wick candle, be sure to trim the wick to about 1/4 inch. This will help prevent the flame from becoming too large and will ensure that your candle burns evenly.

-Burn for at least an hour: The first time you light your wood wick candle, be sure to burn it for at least an hour. This will allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the jar, which will prevent tunnelling (when the wax only melts down the center of the candle).

-Keep the wax pool clear: As your wood wick candle burns, be sure to keep the wax pool clear of any debris, such as wick trimmings or matches. This will help the candle burn smoothly and will prevent the flame from becoming obstructed.

-Don't burn for too long: While it's important to burn your wood wick candle for at least an hour at a time, you don't want to burn it for too long. A good rule of thumb is to burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. This will help prevent the wax from overheating and will extend the life of your candle.

-Store properly: When you're not using your wood wick candle, be sure to store it in a cool, dry place. This will help prevent the wax from melting and will keep your candle in good condition.

By following these tips, you can enjoy your wood wick candle for longer and create a warm, inviting atmosphere in your home. Happy candle burning!

DIFFUSER INSTRUCTIONS

-Carefully remove the cap from the bottle of fragrance oil.

-Insert the reeds into the bottle, making sure they are fully submerged in the oil. How many you use is up to you- more reeds, more scent!

-Allow the reeds to absorb the oil for at least an hour, or until they are saturated.

-Turn the reeds upside down, so the dry ends are now in the oil.

-Place the bottle in a safe location where the fragrance can be appreciated- keep away from open flames, pets, children, or high traffic areas where the diffuser could be knocked over.

-Flip the reeds occasionally to refresh the scent and keep the fragrance consistent.
