What is Melon?

Honeydew melons have a long history in Asia, and they have been cultivated there for thousands of years. The earliest evidence of honeydew melons in Asia comes from China, where they were mentioned in literature dating back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The honeydew melon is believed to have originated in Central Asia and then spread to other parts of the region.

In China, the honeydew melon is often considered a symbol of wealth and prosperity, and it is often given as a gift during important events such as weddings and the Chinese New Year. The fruit is also believed to have medicinal properties, and it is commonly used to treat a variety of ailments such as high blood pressure, constipation, and heat stroke.

In Japan, honeydew melons are highly prized for their sweet, delicate flavor and smooth texture. They are typically consumed as a dessert, and are often given as gifts during the summer months. They are also used in traditional Japanese cuisine, where it is used to make the desert called Mizumelon which is made by just cutting the melon and serving it.

In Korea, honeydew melons are considered a luxury fruit and are often given as gifts during special occasions. They are typically consumed as a sweet, refreshing treat during the hot summer months.

What does EMME's Melon fragrance smell like?

Our Melon fragrance is light and fruity- the perfect way to liven up a summer day, or make it feel like summer no matter what time of year it is. With notes of corn syrup and milk powder, it has a sweetness akin to melon flavored desserts, complimented with authentic honeydew to round out its base notes. If you're a fan of wood wick candles, you know that they can bring a cozy, warm atmosphere to any room. But in order to get the most out of your wood wick candle, it's important to properly care for it. Here are a few tips for keeping your wood wick candle burning bright:

-Trim the wick: Before lighting your wood wick candle, be sure to trim the wick to about 1/4 inch. This will help prevent the flame from becoming too large and will ensure that your candle burns evenly.

-Burn for at least an hour: The first time you light your wood wick candle, be sure to burn it for at least an hour. This will allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the jar, which will prevent tunnelling (when the wax only melts down the center of the candle).

-Keep the wax pool clear: As your wood wick candle burns, be sure to keep the wax pool clear of any debris, such as wick trimmings or matches. This will help the candle burn smoothly and will prevent the flame from becoming obstructed.

-Don't burn for too long: While it's important to burn your wood wick candle for at least an hour at a time, you don't want to burn it for too long. A good rule of thumb is to burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. This will help prevent the wax from overheating and will extend the life of your candle.

-Store properly: When you're not using your wood wick candle, be sure to store it in a cool, dry place. This will help prevent the wax from melting and will keep your candle in good condition.

By following these tips, you can enjoy your wood wick candle for longer and create a warm, inviting atmosphere in your home. Happy candle burning!

Had to try it!

I saw on one of my favorite influencers pages that there used to a be a Melona candle that was like a cult favorite, so when I heard they were bringing it back I had to give it a try. Now believe me, I've eaten a lot of melonas in my life so I'm not the kindest critic when things don't match up, but man this smells exactly how they taste. I'll have to stock up in case they take them away again!
