Location: Remote (NYC-based preferred, with occasional in-person shoots in New York City)

EMME nyc is a home fragrance brand inspired by authentic Asian scents and flavors. We create candles, reed diffusers, and more, with a focus on using safe, non-toxic ingredients. As we expand our presence, we are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Coordinator to help grow our online community and create compelling content that resonates with our audience.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a part-time Social Media Coordinator to manage our social media presence, create engaging content, and foster community interaction. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics, a knack for storytelling, and a deep understanding of social media trends. This role will involve a combination of remote work and in-person content creation in the streets of NYC to engage the local community.
Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:
- Plan, shoot, and edit engaging social media content, including Reels, Stories, and in-feed posts.
- Create UGC-style videos, unboxing videos, and product reviews that align with EMME nyc’s brand voice.
- Film “talking head” videos and behind-the-scenes content, showcasing products, founder stories, and more.
- Conduct street-style video campaigns in NYC, such as interactive challenges.

Social Media Management:
- Manage the daily posting schedule and content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Write compelling captions and ensure content aligns with ongoing campaigns (e.g., product launches, seasonal drops).
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and interact with followers to build community.

Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze social media performance (engagement, reach, growth) to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide biweekly reports and suggest actionable insights to improve overall social strategy.

Influencer Management:
- Coordinate influencer collaborations and UGC partnerships to drive product visibility.
- Track influencer campaigns and ensure timely delivery of content.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing social media for a brand, preferably in lifestyle or beauty.
- Strong skills in video editing and content creation for Instagram and TikTok.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools.
- Experience with influencer outreach and relationship management.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Bonus: Experience with in-person video shoots and interacting with the public.
