Seasonal Packing & Studio Assistant (Part-Time)

EMME is a New York City-based home fragrance brand looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Seasonal Packing & Studio Assistant to support our team during the busy holiday season.

This hands-on role focuses on packing customer orders, organizing inventory, preparing boxes, and keeping our studio running smoothly. We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable with physical tasks in a fast-paced, small-business environment.

Responsibilities

Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment with care and attention to detail
Assemble and organize shipping boxes and packaging materials
Organize, count, and maintain product inventory
Restock packing supplies and keep the studio clean and organized
Assist with general studio organization and fulfillment tasks as needed

Qualifications

Must be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Proactive, resourceful, and able to anticipate what needs to be done
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and implement feedback
Reliable and able to commit to the required holiday schedule
Previous experience in packing, order fulfillment, inventory, or warehouse work is a plus, but not required

Schedule & Compensation

Pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Up to 20 hours per week, spread across multiple days
Availability: Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM
Location: Brooklyn Navy Yard, Brooklyn, NY
Seasonal position: Must be available throughout the holiday season. There may be opportunities for continued, long-term work based on business needs and performance.
