EMME x YingTao
We partnered with Yingtao, a Michelin-starred Chinese fine-dining restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen, to create a custom co-branded candle featuring EMME’s signature lychee scent. Known for its bold, modern interpretation of Chinese cuisine and beautifully plated seasonal menus, Yingtao has quickly become one of New York City’s most celebrated dining destinations.
This exclusive candle was designed to complement the restaurant’s sensory experience, subtle yet striking, playful yet elegant. The sweet, tropical notes of lychee echo flavors found throughout their menu and help build a cohesive atmosphere from the moment guests walk through the door.
Custom-branded to match Yingtao’s elevated aesthetic, the candle is used throughout the restaurant and offered in limited quantities for purchase, giving guests a chance to take a piece of their experience home. A scent that lingers, just like the meal.

Yingtao chose EMME’s signature Lychee scent for its custom candle collaboration – a fragrance designed to feel vibrant, refined, and quietly memorable. Inspired by the sweetness of freshly peeled lychee, the scent opens with bright tropical fruit before softening into delicate notes of red tea and rock sugar.
The result is playful yet elevated: juicy without feeling overpowering, sweet with restraint, and layered with warmth that lingers gently throughout the space. It’s a fragrance that mirrors the experience at Yingtao itself – modern, expressive, and thoughtfully composed.
