We modeled our Drip Coffee fragrance after cafe sua da, a popular Vietnamese coffee drink. Vietnamese coffee has a long history, with coffee being introduced to the country by French colonists in the 19th century. Over time, the Vietnamese developed their own style of coffee-making, which involved using a small metal drip filter (phin) to slowly brew the coffee over a cup or glass, resulting in a strong, rich, and smooth cup of coffee. This style of coffee-making became popular in Vietnam and is now a staple in Vietnamese cafes and homes, typically served with sweetened condensed milk. The popularity of Vietnamese coffee has since spread globally, and it is now enjoyed by coffee lovers all over the world.

What does EMME’s Drip Coffee smell like?

Our Drip Coffee fragrance is bold, just like a freshly brewed cup of cafe sua da. The fragrance comes out of the gate strong with hearty notes of espresso balanced by the milky, sweet scent of condensed milk. The scent finishes with a hint of chicory- an authentic touch to make it stand out next to your average coffee scent. Must try for lovers of coffee and coffee smells!

If you're a fan of wood wick candles, you know that they can bring a cozy, warm atmosphere to any room. But in order to get the most out of your wood wick candle, it's important to properly care for it. Here are a few tips for keeping your wood wick candle burning bright:

-Trim the wick: Before lighting your wood wick candle, be sure to trim the wick to about 1/4 inch. This will help prevent the flame from becoming too large and will ensure that your candle burns evenly.

-Burn for at least an hour: The first time you light your wood wick candle, be sure to burn it for at least an hour. This will allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the jar, which will prevent tunnelling (when the wax only melts down the center of the candle).

-Keep the wax pool clear: As your wood wick candle burns, be sure to keep the wax pool clear of any debris, such as wick trimmings or matches. This will help the candle burn smoothly and will prevent the flame from becoming obstructed.

-Don't burn for too long: While it's important to burn your wood wick candle for at least an hour at a time, you don't want to burn it for too long. A good rule of thumb is to burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. This will help prevent the wax from overheating and will extend the life of your candle.

-Store properly: When you're not using your wood wick candle, be sure to store it in a cool, dry place. This will help prevent the wax from melting and will keep your candle in good condition.

By following these tips, you can enjoy your wood wick candle for longer and create a warm, inviting atmosphere in your home. Happy candle burning!

I love this candle!!! Seriously one of my favorites from Emme. It's a perfect imitation of the Vietnamese coffee. The roast of the coffee scent is nice and dark but paired with a sweet (but not headache-y) scent of condensed milk. I bought 2 and I'll always keep a stock

This scent throws really well and smells just like a Vietnamese coffee. already almost burned through my candle because I light it every day. Will definitely reorder

Very sweet coffee smell. Similar to the coffee candies you buy at Asian super markets. Not a deep espresso smell but more like a mocha latte. Burns for quiet long as well and wick is easy to trim.

best scent ever!!!

It doesn't smell like coffee

When you smell the candle before litting it, it smells more like vanilla or coconut? I want to believe the intention was to add condense milk scent, but does not smell like drip coffee at all. The scent is nice, just not what I expected.
